I'm Chris, 20 from Borehamwood, Hertfordshire. It's pretty close to London, England. However it's such a dull place. I'm around 6ft1 tall and I'm a pretty fun guy ^_^
I'm a lover of most music and I like to write my own lyrics with the aim of someday being in a band. My taste is broad and sometimes you can even tell that from my lyrics.
I'm a pretty open person, most of the things I write come from personal experience, so whilst being a hobby, songwriting is also my release :).

I just came SO close to writing something new...

First time on here in almost a year and I came close to writing some new material. You're all great inspirations, it's just getting to the point I actually log in to draw off that... Hopefully I can build on the snippets and hooks I've put together tonight and come back with a complete piece soon. On a personal level though so much has changed in the last couple of months. I've come to the end of a 4 year relationship and I don't know how I feel about that. It's a mix really: Regret; Yes a little, it could have ended on better terms, it could have been timed better too no doubt about that (Literally a week or so before an anniversary). L

I need to begin writing again...

Deviantart, my love hate relationship... I can be addicted to you and then all of a sudden go AWOL for months on end and I apologise for the lengths that seem to keep increasing. So as you've guessed I'm getting that itch again, I'm bored, I have so much time on my hands. Now would be the perfect time to start over, finally get back into the habit of creativity. One problem... Everything I come up with is, for need of a better word, pure rubbish. I know my previous stuff wasn't great anyway but this is just pure terrible. I need some inspiration to light the spark, begin the flow and push me back into the swing of things. Any help/advice/

I'm painfully bored, and tired which has led on to me being in a really crappy mood. But listening to a little Go Radio is so far becoming really therepeutic, oh how I wish I could write to the standard of the magic Jason Lancaster manages every single time (Envious glare) haha. But yeah I'm looking for more bands like Go Radio and Mayday Parade so if you know of any I may not please let me know. :)
